Lucy here! Lucy is a female Yellow Labrador mix who is 3 years old and currently weighs 57lbs (as of 11/14). Lucy is house trained and crate trained (she sleeps in the crate at night and while her foster family is at work). Lucy gets along with other dogs, but shows too much interest in cats. So a home without cats, would be best. Lucy has four loves in her life. Lucy’s first love is taking walks, although she will need a little work with leash training. Her second love is to play fetch with balls or bones. Sometimes she doesn’t want to give the ball back right away, but she sure likes to run after it! She will also play tug-of-war and chase a laser pointer! Lucy’s third love, her treats. Her foster mom says she gets very excited about getting a treat! She will not knock you down or bite to get it—but she will go through her arsenal of tricks (sit, lay down, and shake) without paying attention to what command you are actually giving! While Lucy has a lot of energy, her fourth love is her family and she will come inside and lay with her family. She is not destructive in the home and she rarely barks. Once inside, she is very content. Lucy is looking for a home where she will be with a family who will walk her and play fetch with her. It doesn’t need to be a super high energy family, but one who will give her a way to burn energy. Lucy hopes to find a new home for the holidays!
