This is Piper, she is a purebred Wire Hair Fox Terrier. She is four years old and currently weighs 17lbs (as of 11/14). Piper seems to be house trained and has had no accidents in the house. She doesn’t care for her crate and will bark at first, but she quickly settles in. Piper is shy at first around new people but once she warms up, she is a “wonderfully low-key social girl that is ready to cuddle whenever there is a lap available.” She is good with other dogs, but is shy with new dogs at first. Piper is curious about cats but actually a little wary of them. Piper has not been around very young children but allowed a relative of the foster home, who is 9 years old, carry her around like a baby and Piper loved it! Piper loves to sit on laps and snooze and be cuddled. She is a medium energy girl who is happy and affectionate, and very social once she gets to know you! Piper would do great in any home and hopes to have settled in to one for the holidays!
