Sarah is about 1-2 years old (as of Jan 2012) and is a large girl with purrs and love to match. She came into our care back in late summer along with her babies. She raised them with love and tenderness, and when they were old enough they got homes and Sarah took under her wing some motherless baby kittens who needed her. She raised those kittens as well, and now it is finally sweet Sarah's chance to have a home and love to call her own. Sarah is very loving and is completely devoted to people and being their companion. She meets you every time you come home and will be purring and talking to you. When you are on the sofa watching tv, she will love to sit with you and be petted, and when you are going about your chores she will check out what you are doing. Sarah is calm and gentle, and wonderful with children and adults alike. She has been fostered in a home with other kitties and dogs and does great with pets. She loves to laze in the sun or sprawl out on a comfy window seat or plush pillow, and she always sleeps with you at night. Sarah works off some of those calories with playtime and she has fun with kitty toys and the laser light. Sarah loves being petted and held, and will also hang out on your lap. A VIP adoption fee is an additional $15.00 to the above posted. A VIP kitty leaves a financial legacy so we can help the other homeless pets in our foster program. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
