Chunky Monkey was adopted over a year ago, and is about 1 1/2 yrs old (as of Feb/2012). His adopter returned him because after he and a fellow cat were locked in a room for days while they were out of town, the cats clawed the carpet to get out of the room and damaged the carpeting with their nails. Chunky Monkey would prefer a home that not lock him up in a room, and is happy to behave with nails getting trimmed if he could just play guard cat and watch your whole home if you leave town! Chunky Monkey is full of personality! He loves kids and adults and will engage you with play or for affection. He will hang out by your side and snuggle with you at bedtime. He gets along great with other pets and settles in well to new surroundings. He will be an awesome addition for a family or home wanting an interactive, charismatic kitty. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
