Leon is truly a gentle giant. About 5 years old (as of Feb 2012), Leon is a handsome orange tabby with soft fur. Found abandoned outside, Leon appreciates the comforts of living inside and does not intend to be outside again. He is the strong, silent type, a lazy boy who likes to lounge here and there and especially right next you. Leon gets along fine with other pets and adapts well to new surroundings given time to settle in. He may be big, but he is a shy guy at first! Leon loves to be talked to and cooed to, and he purrs deep and nonstop. He will headbutt your hand for attention gently and indulge in chin rubs and head pets. Leon will be a great new addition for a calmer family setting. He does love to play chase with his foster pals, even the kittens, but is more often found curled up in a cozy corner. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
