About Marybeth

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Calico or Dilute Calico
  • Housetrained: Yes
Marybeth is a sweetheart and is about 6 pounds and 7-8 months old (as of 2/2012). She was found with an abscess on her side by some residents who brought her to us for help. Marybeth hopped out of the basket she was perched within and scampered at high speeds into the parking lot. Her finders drove off, and an SCHS board member found her ten minutes later and scooped her up into our safety. Marybeth's abscess has been treated and she looks gorgeous now. She has very pretty calico markings of white, orange and black, and she has greenish colored eyes. Marybeth is good with other kitties and settles in well to new surroundings given some time to adjust. She is still fearful of dogs and will hide from them. Marybeth likes to be held and cuddled close and to be petted. She is not shy so much as sometimes unsure with new places and pets. She is blossoming each day and showing a new, sweetness of her personality. Marybeth would like a home who will cherish her and care for her. She will be a precious and interactive addition to a family. Email your application today to adopt Marybeth! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
