Hello! My name is Bart, I am a male Dachshund mix who is currently 4 months old and weighs about 13lbs (as of 2/7). I am crate trained and really enjoy the security the crate provides me. I working on house training--but since I am young I will need your patience!I am a very sweet boy who craves human attention. Bart must have been through a lot in his first 4 months of life. When he came to his foster home he would crawl on his belly to greet you, needing reassurance. He is very friendly and outgoing but always comes back to you to make sure he is safe and secure. He loves to sit on the back of the couch and be near you where ever you are! He gets along with other dogs, does well with cats, and would do fine in a home with children. He also loves to play with toys and chew on rawhides. I may be shy on our first date, but I will come around and be your very best companion!
