Nicholas is about 4 years old (as of 2/25) and is a very large build boy with classic tabby swirls on his site, beautiful coloring and Bengal-ish features. He was found as a stray after being adopted years prior. Nicholas' owner could not be located, so Nicholas came back to our care so he could find a true-blue forever home. When he was found, he was suffering from what the vet believed to be allergies from flea bites. His hair was gone on his back and on his sides. His back was red, infected and scabby - looking like someone had poured hot oil on him. After weeks of treatment his skin is normal again and his beautiful coat is growing in great. Nicholas has a "Here I am" personality. He rules the roost at the foster center and is no doubt an alpha boy! He gets along great with other cats and is not aggressive but will not permit anyone to bully him. Nicholas is leary of dogs still but is nonaggressive. He adapts great to new surroundings and does fine with other pets. Nicholas is outgoing and curious and he loves to play. His favorite toy is the turbo scratcher ring (also a fave lounging place for him) and dangle toys. He stalks kitty toys with prowess and is quite cunning in getting his toy! Nicholas loves to be with people and is friendly and a companion. He would love a home where he could be pals with everyone and serve as a guard cat (his size alone makes everyone go wow!). SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
