Maija (pronounced my-jah) is about 9 months old and an elegant young adult with her Bengal smoke and silver coloring, large green eyes and striped tabby pattern. Maija is long-legged and sleek with a soft coat and loving personality. She is a bit of the princess in her home but she knows how to play with toys and can really have a blast when she is. Maija loves to be petted and purrs non-stop when you show her affection. She is easy going and confident in the home, a kitty who likes to greet everyone with regalness. Maija gets along with other cats but needs a few days to get acquainted and to adjust to new surroundings. She takes a little longer with dogs and will prefer a calm, friendly dog to a bouncy one. Maija likes to hang out by your side or following you around the home. She will melt into purrs when you hold her or talk to her. She is a great kitty for a family or home wanting a beautiful and unique looking cat who is in a class all by herself and very loving. A VIP adoption fee is an additional $15.00 to the above posted. A VIP kitty leaves a financial legacy so we can help the other homeless pets in our foster program. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
