Marilyn, snowshoe kitten is about 4 months old (as of 03/27/12). Can you believe this beautiful girl was a stray living with mom and her siblings at a local school? Marilyn was caught and brought into our care. She was quite scared when we first caught her and her siblings. She was been in foster care since she was about 10 weeks old. Slowly she came out of her shell and has learned to love being around people and living in a home. She is such as sweet kitten and purrs all the time. She loves to snuggle in bed with you at night and a good chin rub. Marilyn can still be startled sometimes, but for the most part is a comfortable, confident kitty in her foster home. She does ok with a nice dog in her foster home and other cats. It can take a little time and she can be pretty vocal when new kitties are introduced in the home. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
