About Shelby

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Brindle
Meet Shelby! I am a female Boxer who is 1 year old and who weighs 40lbs (as of 3/16). I was found as a stray, left for dead on the road. In fact, those who found me though I was dead. However, they discovered that I was still alive, just in very poor shape. I am very malnourished and you could see every bone in my body. I also have mange, which made me loose most of my hair. With some basic needs filled (food, shelter, and water) I have had a new start for life. I am now becoming that peppy fun Boxer. My hair is getting better now that I am getting baths and medicine. I am crate trained and house trained. I do well with all other dogs and cats. I would do well in a home with children 5 years and older. I am a happy and affectionate girl despite what I have gone through. And now that I feel better I am ready to play! I still have a ways to go with the mange, but I wanted to get a head start on looking for my forever home! My Adoption Fee is $150.00 Please send all inquiries with a completed application to schsadoptadog@yahoo.com IMPORTANT All our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
