About Peter

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Tan
  • Housetrained: Yes
Peter is a very handsome Angora mix having a long build and he has Norwegian features blended in. His coat is silky soft and a beautiful champagne color. About 10 months old (as of April 25), he and his equally handsome brother Simon (also online) are looking for a forever home or homes to adopt them. They were both abandoned at the shelter by their owner who was moving and could not take them with. Peter is a loving and friendly boy, and is more reserved than his brother Simon who is a love hound! Peter loves to be petted and talked to, and will purr up a storm, but he prefers to keep all 4 paws on the ground and is not much for being hugged or held. He does adjust well to new surroundings and gets along great with other pets. He is gentle and has a playful and curious side to him too. Peter will make a great addition to a home wanting a friendly, lovable kitty. He is already a big boy and will be an even bigger boy when he is all grown up. He and his brother Simon will make a stunning and personable pair of bookends for your home if you are interested in adopting two. Please email your application for Peter (maybe Simon too) today and give him a love, home and the chance to be part of a family. IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes. As we do not have the volunteer resources to answer phone or email inquiries without a completed application, to ensure your inquiry about this pet receives proper and prompt attention, please complete an adoption application and send to the e-mail address beneath the pet's photo (there is no obligation to adopt). We adopt out to of state homes, but ask potential adopters to consider the cost and methods of transport and include this information when submitting an application. Completed applications and inquiries are responded to within 12 to 48 hours.
