About Jabari

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Housetrained: Yes
This cute little black and white kitten is Jabari, which means brave in Swahili. Jabari is about 12 weeks, old as of 9/10/12, and is truly a brave kitten indeed. As a tiny kitten, weighing only 8 ounces, he was covered in fleas, when he was brought into the county shelter. He knew he desperately needed some TLC, and after trying to survive on his own, outside, he decided to go in someone's house through their doggy door. He was trying to pick out a home where he would be safe and well taken care of. Now, with the Humane Society, and in foster care, Jabari is doing great! He gets along with everyone he meets, adults and kids alike. He also does fine with the nice dog in his foster home, and absolutely loves to play with the other foster kittens there. Jabari will purr when you hold or give him attention. Please email your application for Jabari today and give him the home he has been looking for. IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes. As we do not have the volunteer resources to answer phone or email inquiries without a completed application, to ensure your inquiry about this pet receives proper and prompt attention, please complete an adoption application and send to the e-mail address beneath the pet's photo (there is no obligation to adopt). We adopt out to of state homes, but ask potential adopters to consider the cost and methods of transport and include this information when submitting an application. Completed applications and inquiries are responded to within 12 to 48 hours.
