About Poppy

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Red
Meet Poppy - a beautiful young dachshund mix who came into our care with her sister. They had not had much training but their foster mom reports they are doing really good and can now look for their forever home. Poppy is 9 months old and weighs 16 pounds. She is doing really well with her house training and is good with other dogs. She's also good with men, women and strangers. She has not been around young children so that is an unknown. Her foster mom reports she is happy, playful, social but can be timid and anxious too - and she is a great lap dog! She is a high energy young lass so she will need a home where she can have plenty of exercise and play. She will do well in a home with a predictable routine. She loves cuddling with her foster mom, belly rubs and romping with her doggie friends. Poppy would love to have her own forever home now. Is it yours??
