About Ginger

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Red
Meet Ginger - a young Dachshund mix little gal who came into our care with her sister. She and her sister had very little training when they came to us but their foster mom reports that they are both doing great now and are ready to find their forever homes. Ginger is 9 months old and weighs 16 pounds. She's doing well with her house training but is not 100% yet. She's good with other dogs and gets along well with men, women and strangers. She is playful, happy, and social. She can be somewhat clingy at times as well as being anxious and timid. She will need a home that will continue to help her in her socializing and trusting. She will also need to have a home that can provide her with opportunities for play and exercise as she does have a lot of energy. She will do well in a home with a predictable routine and with someone who will let her cuddle and rub her belly! If that sounds like you, give us a call and meet this sweet little lady! Call our Adoption Center for a meet n greet at 502 863-3279 Click here for a copy of our application: http://members.petfinder.com/~generalftp/SCHS_Dog_AdoptionApplication.do Send completed applications to SCHSadoptionCTR@aol.com IMPORTANT All our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
