Meet sweet Shelby! Shelby was found outside by a very nice lady, who agreed to take her in, but since this very nice person is extremely allergic to cats, she can't keep her. We don't know what happened to Shelby, and why she lost her home, but she absolutely loves people, gets along very well with dogs, even active dogs, and loves to be petted and brushed. We are so thankful that Shelby was found and taken in, because as it turned out, she's declawed on all 4 paws, and wouldn't have lasted long outside since she would have been unable to defend herself or even climb to get away from danger. Shelby is quiet in the house, and has a soft voice and purrs a lot. She will make a wonderful pet, email your application and adopt her today. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
