Early life has not been easy for Sonia (between 6 months and a year old as of March 2014). If you approach her too fast or make loud noises she might run away. But if you approach her slowly and let her know you are her friend, this little girl will look at you with her pretty lime green eyes and quickly reward you with purrs and chirps and body rubs when you pet her. Once she gets to know you, she loves to sit in your lap or sleep in the bed with you. She gets along great with the friendly dogs and other cats in her foster home. Her foster sister Morgan does not like other cats or dogs to invade her personal space, but from the photo you can see how Sonia can worm her way into your heart. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
