Juniper is an 8-month-old Husky mix who is still very much a puppy at heart and loves having appropriate things to chew. She is highly treat-motivated, which should make training a positive and rewarding experience. Juniper enjoys playtime, exercise, and cuddle time, so an active home with a yard or regular walks would be an excellent fit. She generally gets along well with other dogs, including smaller ones, and would make a fun, affectionate companion for the right family.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
