Much like his human counterpart, Pedro Purrscal has a bit of social anxiety to go along with his devastatingly handsome good looks and kind nature. Once he figures out that you're not going to eat him, though, he'll show you his fantastic purr and absolutely shower you with affection.

Pedro spent about 5 weeks in the shelter and has been in a foster home now for over 3 weeks. He's a total goofball who loves to be loved on but also sometimes likes to run when you want to pick him up. Does he know how to blink? We're still not sure.

Pedro gets along really well with other cats and is very, very sweet.  He's very gentle with his paws and teeth and a gentleman about his litter box. Pedro would probably rather live with quiet adults or older kids rather than babies and toddlers. He would love to have a rambunctious cat friend and might be the kind of cat who can adapt to a nice dog. He's currently rooming with another kitten about his age, Hissy Elliot, and the two of them get along like peanut butter and jelly.
