If you are looking for a mini dictator Ryder is your puppy.  This little guy likes to be apart of the action and has a lot to say.  Ryder would be happiest in a home where someone is home more than they are gone and needs a fellow doggy friend.  Ryder can be quite vocal when separated from his people.  Ryder has been around dogs and cats and does sometimes needs reminded to not chewy on the cat.  Like most puppies he’s working on manners, house training and he’s teething.  Ryder would do best with older children and a family who has experience with the dachshund breed.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
