Simba is an eleven year old neutered cat who was adopted in July after being rescued from the shelter where he was a turn in from a family who had new financial and family issues.
While he was reported to be good with other cats and children, he would much prefer to be a bachelor with an empty nester. He is exceptionally friendly to his adults, and will cozy up for television or bedtime with them. He tolerates children, but would prefer they be still and not too exuberant. He'd love a quiet home, a perch to look outside, and a string to chase.
Simba has the softest fur and the cutest bird-like meow. He doesn't like loud noises or sharp movements, but if he knows you, he'll follow you around and beg for attention. He loves to be brushed and petted. He'll give affectionate licks to wake you up when the birds begin singing.
He likely wouldn't like dogs either. He's a very cool, healthy cat with years left to offer that perfect person or couple who need a 13 pound hunk of love in their lives.
