Miniature Pinscher (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Small Learn more about the Miniature Pinscher.
This sweet, sweet girl has had a rough go of it. She was rescued from a fire that the owner and her other dog sibling did not survive. She was taken to the emergency vet for smoke inhalation. They treated her, and although they thought she might be blind from the smoke, it was temporary and she seems to be able to see fine now! She is a very, very sweet and affectionate dog and is like Velcro and wants to be by you or on you at all times. She loves to cuddle underneath the covers at night. It seems her previous owner had definitely trained her on pee pads so she has never had an accident off of those in the house but she also goes potty outside. Her Foster says if you can get her outside when she has to go, she’ll do that instead of use the pad. Although there was another dog in her previous home she does seem to have some food aggression and can be aggressive towards other dogs if they are near her when she’s eating or treats are involved. That could be situational though with the other foster dogs she’s with that can also be food aggressive. She’s never been aggressive towards people. She LOVES people. She does not like to be left alone and will bark if she is, at least for a while. If you want just a very affectionate lapdog that wants to cuddle with you always and get ALL the attention, she’s the perfect one! A meet with any potential doggie siblings is recommended.
