Alfie is a beautiful boy that was found as a stray, and no one came to claim him.  He stayed in the shelter for several weeks, where he became increasingly scared and timid as time went on.  One of our fosters took Alfie in and has been giving him plenty of love and attention! And a nice quiet, soft bed where he is finally getting some very much needed rest.  Alfie is slowly coming out of his shell and will need plenty of attention to continue to improve.  He loves the dogs in his house and wants to run and play with them and toys! He is getting more and more comfortable with his human foster family.  We know he will be a great family addition.  Fill out an application now!

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
