Max is a gentle soul looking for his retirement home.  Like most seniors he makes his opinions known.  In general he’s a pretty well behaved dog, but will bite if forced to do something he doesn’t want to do.  Max would do best in a home without kids.  He gets along fine with calm cats and dogs.  His former owners never house trained him, but we are working on it.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
