If you would like to meet this cat, please make a reservation to visit the Central Purrk Cat Cafe in-person. The staff there can guide you through the cat adoption process if the meet-and-greet goes well. Prosecco was an outdoor Mom cat. She apparently got into a fight with another cat (probably protecting her babies) and had an injury to her neck that pierced her trachea. Air leakage from her trachea caused bubbles under her skin. So, when she came into our care, she had bubbles and was sweet, so we named her Prosecco after the sparkling wine. Her neck injury has now healed and there is no sign of air leakage from her trachea so that has healed also. She is not a lap cat but does purr and talk to you and loves to rub up against your legs. She is young enough that she still loves to race through the house. She seems fine being an indoor only cat now but does love to hang out in the window and watch the birds. She has not been around other cats or the dog as she was getting stress free time to heal. We think she will be ok around a friendly dog or cat once acquainted. Estimated DOB: 7/14/21 Adoption fee: $75 (6% KY sales tax included) We would love to hear from you!
