Duke is a sweet older gentleman that is looking for a quiet home where he can veg out on the couch or in his person's bed.  The only high maintenance part of him is the daily brushing that is required due to his long coat, which is a lot of work, but he doesn't mind being brushed too much.  Duke gets along with both cats and dogs, but isn't one to run and play with others.  He will quietly nap beside the other animals in his foster home.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
