Hello, I am Miriam! I am a beautiful calico polydactyl and I can’t wait to find my forever home! A polydactyl cat is a cat with extra toes and I have one extra on each one of my front paws. The most famous cats with extra toes belong to the estate of writer Ernest Hemingway. If you visit his estate in Key West, you will see a lot of cats like me running around his property. Sailors believe polydactyl cats bring them good luck! That is mainly because we have greater balance on a boat because of our extra toes. Even though I am not famous like the Hemingway cats, my extra toes make me super adorable and famous in the eyes of everyone who meets me!  But what I want you to know the most about me is that I am always nice! I am super sweet and will greet you lovingly each day. When you pet me my purr motor really gets going and I may even roll over and let you pet my belly. I have never been around a dog but could most likely get used to one with a slow introduction. I love other nice cats and it would be nice if I could have a kitty BFF in my new home. Even if another cat hisses at me I don't react. I am a love bug with humans and other cats. I hope you think I could be the purrfect match for you and your family.
