At 13 years of age Pixie finds herself looking for a new home because her owners were moving.  This poor lady has no clue what she did wrong to loose the family she’s loved for her entire life.  Pixie is still decompressing and her foster mom is still learning her personality.  One thing known for sure is this old lady lights up and becomes a puppy again at the sight of car keys and a leash.  Pixie does well with other animals.  Loves warm cozy beds and is looking for a nice quiet home to live out her golden years in.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
