Hello folks, my name is Winston but you can call me Winny for short! Before being in a foster home I found myself living on a random ladies porch in the harsh winter weather until they were able to catch me. During my stay outdoors I had caught parvo, thanks to SCHC and my foster home, I was successfully treated  for parvo. I am a very affectionate and playful little puppy. You could definitely consider me a lap dog as I love every human I meet and will always ask if you will pick me up. I’m still working on learning my boundaries when interacting with the other dogs and the kitties here at my foster home, when I see them I get very excited and I’m ready to play! It took me no time to learn how to potty on those things you guys call pads. I am crate trained but if I know you’re around I’ll let you know I miss you and I’m ready to be loved on.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
