Mia is an absolute princess and loves nothing more than to be right with her person.  She’s an awesome lap dog.  Mia doesn’t mind a nice walk through the neighborhood every now and then either.  Her idea of a perfect home would be with someone who is retired and home more than they are not.  She can get along with other cats and dogs, but does have little lady syndrome sometimes and forgets her size and will try to be in charge.  She responds well with gentle corrections.  If you have other dogs a meet and greet would be a must before taking her home.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
