Hello everybody, my name is Shaggy but you can call me Shag or Shagster, I know all 3! Before my foster mom got me I was a stray and was scared of going indoors but once I found out what toys and beds are, you can’t keep me away from them. It took me little to no time to learn how to walk on a leash and only to potty outdoors. I love to play and cuddle with any human I make contact with. I get along well with all of my foster siblings both felines and canines. I play very well with all the dogs but sometimes the cats have to tell me to back off because I get so excited when I think they want to play. Since I lived on the streets for some time, I’ll need a fenced in yard since I learned to love exploring. Since I’ve learned the love humans can give, I crave it quite often, so I’d be great as a companion! He is crate trained but he prefers to sleep with us

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
