Roosevelt is a 4 month old orange tabby fuzzball who wants nothing more than to tell you how much he loves you. While he likes to play with his foster brothers, he would much also love  to sit in your lap and be pet - this little one is bound to be a lap cat who gets and gives a lot of attention to his human. He loves to purr and crawl all over you. He's been introduced to the cat-friendly dog in his foster home, and he loves to chase her and play with her tail. He's just fine around other cats in his foster home, but would be completely fine as an only cat as well - where he could have all of your undivided attention.

This cat is currently dealing with a bit of ringworm. Ringworm is the common name for the skin
infection caused by a group of fungi; it is not caused by a worm at all. The cat will need to continue to take a once daily oral medication in conjunction with lime sulfur dipping. Ringworm is closely related to athlete’s foot in people, and it is contagious to us; the young, old, and immunocompromised are more likely to get it so a cat with active ringworm should not be adopted by a household with young children, elderly persons or those with immune issues. Ringworm treatment typically takes about 3-6 weeks and was started on August 17th. We offer reduced adoption fees of $15 for adult cats and $25 for cats under one year if you adopt and take them home while they have active ringworm. If you would like more information on adopting a cat with ringworm, put in an application and we will contact you.

Estimated DOB:   04/13/2022

Standard adoption fee: $80.00 (6% KY sales tax included)
