Candy Bar is a sweet lady looking for a forever home to call her own.  She just finished raising a litter of 7 puppies which all ended up with parvo and giardia.  After 6 weeks in quarantine she got the clean bill of health from the vet.  Despite being isolated with her puppies, Candy Bar quickly integrated into the foster home with the resident cats and dogs.  She does occasionally forget she shouldn’t chase the cats, but with verbal reminders she leaves them alone.  With her laid back easy going personality she would like be good with kids.  She still got some energy so would enjoy an active home.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
