Howdy partners! My name is Max because I love giving everyone the maximum amount of kisses, cuddles, and happy energy when I meet them. I am always a VERY excited bundle of big puppy energy who loves attention, toys, and learning new things. I really enjoy playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with another canine companion that I can run and wrestle with. I'm also used to being around lots of kids and am getting so much better at patiently sitting and giving paw instead of being bouncy when I greet them. It has been great having a big, fenced yard to play in and then stretch out on my comfy dog bed when I'm inside with my people. I'm still learning which toys are mine and it helps me to have a big box of bones and things to chew on so I don't get bored and too curious. I have perfected potty training and am a good boy about going in my crate with my chew toys when I'm left alone. If I had my choice though, I'd go everywhere with my family. I love car rides and going to watch the kids games while everyone pets my belly. I am still learning to not pull on a leash so sometimes I use a special head halter that helps me to walk nicely; I'm getting the hang of it though. I have been around cats and find them so interesting, but since they just don't want me to chase or play with them, then it would be better if I was not left alone with them. I've learned how to sit, shake, wait at doors, and "leave-it" and am doing better at coming when called except sometimes I get the zoomies in the middle of a recall. My perfect family would be one that likes to include me in lots of activities with them, has experience with working breeds, can continue helping me learn training commands and...and have plenty of dog toys and tennis balls. I absolutely love working for treats and pets but just need strong leadership and reminders that my working dog drive should become calm and gentle too. My foster family says that I am such a sweet, goofy, and smart boy who is eager to please his family and give you the best snuggles ever! I can't wait to meet you! Estimated DOB:   4/20/2021.
