A four year old who is 1 part lab and 1 part cuddle bug. He is a friendly companion dog whose top 3 things to do is play fetch, sleep/snuggle on the couch, and carry his toys around until you have settled into a spot with him. Missing a shadow? Look no further. He gives just enough space that you aren't smothered, but stays close enough to remind you he is there. Low to no barking, he has barked only once when he was surprised by a bird. Currently residing with a 14 year old Corgi, who he respects and just barely refrains from overwhelming during play time. Also is learning what it is like living with 5 cats. He respects their personal space and is kind in the face of their disinterest and rejection. He is wonderful at walking, and takes your lead but never tries to pull you off your feet. Goes without issue into his crate at night to sleep or when people are away, not food aggressive or shy. house broken, knows how to sit and is in the process of learning to stay and lie down on command.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
