Sandra is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. She weighs about 19 lb and is about 2 years old. We have been calling her Silly Sandy because she is such a silly girl.

Sandy starts out very timid. She needs time to get to know you. But after a few days, the silliness comes out.
Sandy loves to run and is full of energy. She is getting better at walking on a leash. If you let her off leash she loves to run in circles. She also likes to run in circles in the house. She gets a lot of enjoyment out of running.

Sandy wants to be a lap dog. She looks for any chance to cuddle. If you sit still, she will climb on your lap.

Sandy has somewhat learned how to play and enjoys wrestling with our Border Collie. She also likes to play chase with our Border Collie. She is not very interested in toys, but she is showing an interest in running after a toy if it is thrown.

Sandy does well with larger dogs. She does not do well with animals that are her own size. She also does not do well with young children because she does not like it if you lunge for her.

Sandy is very good in a crate. She spends the day in the crate while we are at work and does not have accidents. She also sleeps in the crate at night. We leave the crate door open and she will nap in it when we are home.

In the time that Sandy has been with us as a foster friend, we have seen her personality really bloom and her fun side has start to come out. She is a lovely sweet girl.
