Emmy has grown a lot during her almost 3 months in foster care - she came to SCHS very timid and shy, and while she’s still an independent girl, she’s learned to trust the humans she lives around. Like her brother Asher, she immediately took to the older cats in her foster home for security, they both enjoy the companionship of another cat in their home. The dogs aren’t so bad either, as long as they’re friendly too. Emmy would do just about anything for a can of cat food, that’s when she’s most welcoming of pets & affection. She may need a little patience while she warms up in a new environment but given the right home she won’t take long to show you her playful & sweet side

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Cats (6 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all cats, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for FeLV /FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and rabies vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, and checked/treated for ear mites.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Kittens (under 6 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for FeLV, microchipped, current on booster vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, and checked/treated for ear mites.
