Evelyn needs a nice quiet house with not too much going on.  She would do best in a smaller house or apartment.  If she has a lot of room to roam, she tends to hide especially if there are other animals that are not totally laid back.  She actually does not like being alone.  If you put her in a room by herself, she will cry to get out.  If you go in there with her alone, she will rub up against you wanting some attention and may even do some lap time.   See the attached video.    She has been in a foster home with a dog who ignores her so she ignores him right back.  She gets along fine with calm, friendly cats but is not going to compete with another cat for attention.  She does not like to jump up on things so she needs her food served on the floor.  She really is a sweet girl who will need plenty of time to adjust to a new home.
