Hi!  I’m Purple Rain (Purple for the color tag I had when I was born  on Friday, February 27 ).  I am a boy who loves to lay down inside when the sun is streaming through the window.  I’m a little chubby and I know when it’s breakfast and dinner time.  Sometimes you’ll find me laying down with my food bowl.  I like to play tug of war with the human children and my sisters.  I like to run with the big dogs, but sometimes I get trampled because I’m so tiny.  I’m not fully housed trained, but I’m working on it.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
