The Old Man and The Sea is how my name came to be.  I am an Old Man who was found wandering on a farm and now I am resting on a couch and enjoying the inside life.  I am crate trained and sleep there at night.  During the day, I like hanging out with the other dogs and my foster Mom.    If allowed, I might follow my nose, but I am pretty content to be close to my person, so would come right back to you.  At first, I chased the cat,  but have decided he is pretty cool.   He is a nice cat and Does not run from me.  I may look old, but I am young at heart and love being petted and loved on!  Are you ready to teach an old dog some new tricks?  Then I am the guy for you!

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
