While he tried to be "Major" (a Rottweiler), Minor's pug nature is definitely holding him back in size! Minor is an eight-month-old pug-rottie mix weighing in at sixteen pounds. He is housebroken, potties well on a leash, and is learning how to walk on a leash without tripping his person. He does not have any basic commands down yet, but he stays right by his person, even when off his leash. He's fearful of the cats in his foster home but does not chase them--he's doing exceptionally well at learning to walk right by and ignore them. Minor does whine to meet kids on his walk; we think he'd love to have some kids of his own! Minor has only been in his foster home since April 16, so we're still getting to know him and haven't tried him in a crate yet, but he does very well on car rides.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
