Tommy is a very sweet, calm, and gentle dog. He does not bark and is very loving to others. He does well with kids. He likes to sleep a lot. He also likes to go on walks but not for long distances as he does get hot very quickly and will pant. He does get along well with other dogs but not cats (it might just be our cat because he growls at him). He will chase after the cat and snarl at them. He does good with sleeping in a crate at night and will not mess in his crate. He initially marked a couple of times in his foster home, but that behavior has stopped.   Tommy does cower down whenever you tell him no or go to pick him up. He does not like loud voices or loud noises. Tommy will try to run off if not on his leash. He also likes to dig under the fence to try and get out.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
