Bennie is the poster child of not letting difficult experiences rule your future. Bennie is just a joyous kitty that enjoys running and playing and then he will stretch out on the bed and get comfy and make himself irresistible. When you give in and love on him, he just accepts it and purrs and snuggles - scoop him up and he will lay against your chest and make biscuits. Bennie has been wonderfully easy going in his foster home, he is completely comfortable with the dog and the other cats in the house. He's a gentle kitty that can be picked up and handled without issue.

Bennie's background is a mystery to us, but we know that at some point his jaw was broken - it has healed crooked and one of his teeth sticks out a little sideways. He will have recurring issues with his teeth and gums that will need medication and likely, eventual teeth removal during flare ups (stomatitis). It makes us sad to think he has had such pain in his past, but perhaps he can teach us a little about how to seize a day. We can't wait for Bennie to have a home where he can be safe and happy for the rest of his days. If that could be with you, fill out an application today!
