Hi, I'm "Bobo" and I love to play, snuggle, and be very active. My foster family calls me "Bobo the clown" because of my big batty ears, happy grin, and wiggly bottom. I know how to sit, take treats gently, and "leave-it," as well as sit to get my paws wiped and be a great co-pilot on car rides. I'm very smart and food-motivated and I can't wait to learn more tricks from you! I have good house manners when my family is home with me but I'm still learning that I can't jump up when I'm excited to see people and to not chew shoes when I'm bored. I think cats are so interesting but am learning to leave them alone because they're too small to play with my puppy energy. While I would love another canine companion to play with, I've learned that not all dogs are nice and I need a slow introduction to a sweet dog that I can be very active and play with. My current puppy pal has been a great friend and we spend lots of time sharing toys, bones, running, and cuddling in the doggy bed. Since I have a lot of energy and don't like to be alone, I'd do best with a family who is also active enough to give me a good workout before leaving me alone or is home often enough that I don't worry. I don't like my crate much, but they tell me it's the safest place for me when they're gone and I get lots of special toys and treats in there, so I'm getting used to it. My foster family has learned that hearty bones and kong toys filled with food, treats, and peanut butter help me to not miss them so much when they leave. Once I get settled into my forever home, with positive training and consistency, I know I will be the most amazing canine companion you could hope for positive for anaplasmosis and being treated w/ doxy
