Mia Marie is a 6 month old, family-friendly puppy. She really likes kids and is happy playing or pretending to be a tiny lap dog and sleep on you and I mean sleep on anybody and sleep just about anywhere but she also needs a lot of exercise she'll be happy with a family that will walk her two or three times a day or has a fenced-in backyard for her to run around like crazy in. She is mostly housebroken but not the best at telling you she has to go so you have to look for the signs she will nip at your ankles or she will stare at you and then it starts sniffing in the other room. She's not a very big Barker but when she does decide to get excited and bark about things you can hear her. She still needs training to know that shoes or not toys and needs help learning between a playful nip and a little bit too hard but as long as she has plenty of things that she's allowed to chew on she will not chew on your stuff but if she does get a hold of something that's yours as long as you take it from her and tell her no she will not do it again. She is very strong so she might knock over a little bitty kids but I would say 5 and older would have no problem handling her.   Adoption fee: $250 (includes 6% State Sales Tax)      Our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes, not at a shelter facility.
