Little Laura is not actually so little any more. But she likes to think she is - Laura just loves to be laying on your chest (crushing you might be a more accurate phrase...) with her face tucked in your neck, purring away. She acts pretty independent and maybe even a little aloof until you sit down in a comfy spot and then she reveals herself to be the cuddle bug that she really is. Laura is just fine with the dogs she has met in foster care, but isn't really happy about other cats being around. Laura likes to sleep at the foot of your bed, although she will often come up and lay on your chest to get some affection.

While she is a resilient and healthy cat, Laura is FIV positive. This means her immune system is lower than what you would expect for a cat, but she can still live a long and normal life. See FIV Information.
