In Luka's foster home, the term "Luka Chill" is an aspirational level of zen. Luka never seems to let life bog him down. He likes to nap alllllll stretched out, sometimes on his back, often tucked next to pillows and blankets. He just really knows how to relax and let it all hang out (don't miss the video loaded here). While he is awake, Luka continues his calm, unflappable attitude and is a sweet, affectionate, and talkative fellow. He enjoys having someone pet his head. He does really well with other cats and loves to play chase with other active friends (his buddy in foster care is Midge and she is also up for adoption). He just always seems relaxed - he does well being held and carried around. We think he would do wonderfully with children due to his gentle nature. When he isn't running around with his buddies, Luka likes to nap alllll stretched out (don't miss his video below) - curling up in a ball is definitely not his style. Luka is FIV positive, which means that his immune system is not as strong as it should be. FIV positive and negative cats are able to live together because it will only transfer by puncture wounds, so as long as serious fights do not occur, there isn't any risk. Luca's foster home has both FIV and non-FIV cats. Luca also lives with a dog currently and is still nervous when she gets too close. He would probably not like to be in a home with a rambunctious dog that has much interest in him. You won't be disappointed with his laid back fellow!

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
