Have you ever wanted to teach a dog to walk nicely on a leash? Well now's your chance! Meet Nova Scotia she's the SWEETEST girl you will ever meet. She's house trained and crate trained, love kids and other dogs, she's good with cats too. Shes a great cuddle buddy. She loves being with people and playing. She needs some training but over all is a wonderful dog! She had lots of energy and would love a family that likes to run, walk or hike! Nova Scotia does have ringworm currently but we are treating it. Ringworm is the common name for the skin infection caused by a group of fungi; it is not caused by a worm at all. Ringworm is close related to athlete's foot in people, and it is contagious to us; the young, old, and immunocompromised are more likely to get it so she should not be adopted by a household with young children, elderly persons or those with immune issues Adoption fee: $150 (includes 6% State Sales Tax) Our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes, not at a shelter facility. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out one of our dog adoption applications (www.sc4paws.org/forms) and an adoption counselor will contact you with more details and to schedule a meet and greet. We do adopt out of state. Dogs/puppies are already neutered/spayed, temperament tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites and flea/tick preventative prior to adoption. For more info visit our website (www.sc4paws.org).
