Much like his namesake in LOST, Sawyer has spent quite awhile as a misunderstood but devastatingly handsome soul. He came in rough around the edges, but after a big equipment change and a much needed bath, he's ready to find his humans!

Sawyer spent a long time in a cage so he's a bit easily startled by common household noises and wasn't too sure what to do with having lots of space when we let him out in his foster home. After a few days, though, he's decided the couch is great, cat beds are awesome, and getting his head scratched is the best thing ever. He purrs at the drop of a hat and loves laps, chests, and wherever else he can find to sit with his humans. He's also pretty fond of perching on his human's shoulder.

Sawyer hasn't really started playing much yet, but he has encountered other cats in his foster home and hasn't batted an eyelash when they say mean things to him. His dog experience is unknown.

Sawyer has a bit of a habit of wanting to be underfoot when we move from one room to another, so if you are prone to falling, you might want to consider another kitty. We're working on breaking him of that habit as of now.
