Sandy is a 5 year old Golden Doodle who gave birth to at least 5 litters of puppies before being surrendered to rescue. She is a smaller version of the mix, weighing just under 40 pounds. Sandy had evidently not been inside a house prior to rescue and is learning about being an inside dog and all the new noises and things in a home. She has become a fan of comfy dog beds, playing with socks and exploring a back yard. She has mastered not being afraid of television sights and sounds. Sandy is well on her way to being a “real” dog, who barks and plays and is loved by a family. On the other hand, she can be timid and still has occasional accidents, usually on potty pads in her foster home. Sandy is a sweetheart and is looking for a family who will give her all the love and care she missed when she was used as puppy producer!  

Adoption fee: $200 (includes 6% State Sales Tax)      Our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes, not at a shelter facility. We do adopt out of state. Dogs/puppies are already neutered/spayed, temperament tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites and flea/tick preventative  prior to adoption.
